KUSA - Big Head Todd and the Monsters are spending most of their summer in Los Angeles.
These Colorado guys are in the process of recording their eight studio effort with world-renowned record producer David Bianco.
Grammy-winning Bianco has enjoyed a long and multi-faceted career. As a mixed, he's helped craft records for a diverse array of artists.
BHTM will take breaks only during the summer for a few notable engagements like their week-long excursion to Kona, Hawaii for fun in the sun with fans and friends – the rip involves about 150 diehard fans and concerts by BHTM and Hazel Miller.
BHTM will also return to their Colorado roots this summer for their annual concert at Red Rocks Saturday, June 2 with special guests The Samples and Patrick Park. This year marks BHTM 15th headline appearance at the venue since 1994, when they performed two sold out nights in support of their certified platinum "Sister Sweetly" record. Some proceeds from this years Red Rocks concert will to benefit the Children's Hospital Autism Program.
If you miss them at Red Rocks, you can also catch the guys in KBCO Studio C on Thursday May 31.
